Nov 8th: Outline stitches: running stitch, stem stitch, whipped stitches and couching - create shapes, lettering, and colorful textures and combine threads with these easy-to-work but versatile stitches.
Nov 22nd: Chain stitch and variations: perhaps the most widely used family of stitches that is also considered the most durable, as well as the one with the most variations.
Dec 6th: Herringbone & other crossed stitches: using simple geometry and the shapes of the stitches to create designs.
Dec 13th: Satin stitch and its variations: how to make your embroidery look the same on the front and the back, alternatively - how to save most of your thread for the front of the embroidery
Jan 17th (2026): Textured filling stitches: woven, tied, star-shaped, chain & knot stitches to create interesting texture inside large motifs.
Jan 31st (2026): Decorative edges and joining stitches: how to finish edges or hand-sew garments and household textiles with embroidery stitches.
