Collection: Workshops
I offer private workshops for groups and individuals exploring folk art embroidery styles and other folk art techniques. The workshops are either virtual via Zoom or in-person in the Mid-Hudson Valley region.
Workshop topics include:
- Beginner embroidery
- Embroidery to upcycle used/thrifted garments
- Sewing a zero-waste blouse
- Special topics in Eastern European folk art embroidery (see below for a small sampling of workshops I've taught in the past)
- Beginner backstrap bandweaving
To schedule a workshop, please send email to kateandrosepatterns@gmail.com. Pricing depends on number of attendees and whether it is a virtual or in-person workshop. In-person workshop pricing includes all tools and materials needed for the workshop project.
