Collection: Workshops

I offer private workshops for groups and individuals exploring folk art embroidery styles and other folk art techniques. The workshops are either virtual via Zoom or in-person in the Mid-Hudson Valley region.

Workshop topics include:

• Beginner embroidery
• Embroidery to upcycle used/thrifted garments
• Sewing a zero-waste blouse
• Special topics in Eastern European folk art embroidery (see below for a small sampling of workshops I've taught in the past)
• Beginner backstrap bandweaving
