This one-page pattern explores a single design and only a few stitches.
The design was inspired by the world-famous embroidery of North-Eastern Hungary’s Matyó region. The style of embroidery is most often seen on women’s blouses, household textiles, and decorative aprons, and this quick-to-finish motif works especially well on accessories or the front of a t-shirt. It also fits perfectly on the front of the Ibolyka Coin Purse pattern.
Pattern file contains nested test squares (1”by 1” and 2cm by 2cm) to help you make sure the design prints at the right size.
This design file contains one page that prints cleanly at US Letter or A4 size, should you wish to use your ink jet printer to print it directly onto fabric - the faster to get started stitching! (Tutorial here.)
