This pattern includes a small bouquet inspired by the meticulously executed, wildly colorful embroidery of the region surrounding the town of Kalocsa in Hungary, with flowers blooming in the countryside in the early morning in spring and summer.
Pattern file contains nested test squares (1”by 1” and 2cm by 2cm) to help you make sure the design prints at the right size.

Kalocsa style embroidery is traditionally worked on a white background with #8 perle cotton in bright colors. The fabric used is most often cotton broadcloth or lighter-weight cotton. To print this design directly onto fabric, you will also need freezer paper and an ink jet printer.
