The Mariska is an A-line skirt with gently curved hips and soft drape and subtle folkwear-inspired details. View A hits just below knee and has a waistband with high front detail (wonderful for embroidery!), straight hemline and flamenco-style gathered ruffle. View B has a simple contoured waistband, curved high-low hemline and flared flounce. Skirt pattern includes optional lining and can be made using winter or summer weight fabrics.
The Mariska pattern is suitable for intermediate seamstresses, with beautifully illustrated, detailed instructions and diagrams for every step of construction.
