It is finally here: Sewing Indie Month 2015! I’m so excited to be part of Sewing Indie Month again, together with 20 amazing and talented designers!

Sewing Indie Month (SIM)celebrates indie sewing patterns during the entire month of September, and also the people who sew them. September willbe jam-packedwith fun interviews, informative tutorials, a sewalong contest with tons of exciting prizes! Sewing Indie Month has also grown to include bundle sales, where you can buy a selection of sewing patterns for very, very low prices, and support good causes to boot! The first bundle sale took place in August, and the second bundle is on now!

The Designers:

Blueprints For Sewing | Closet Case Files | Dixie DIY Patterns
Fehr Trade | imagine gnats | Jennifer Lauren Vintage Patterns
Kate & Rose | Lolita Patterns  | Maison Fleur | MIY Collection
Muse Patterns | Paprika Patterns | Skinny Bitch Curvy Chick Patterns
Seamster Sewing Patterns | SeamstressErin Designs
Sew House Seven | Sew Liberated | Sew Over It
SomaPatterns | True Bias | Waffle Patterns

The Contests:

With the guidance of three amazing bloggers, you can also participate! Sew a pattern or tutorial by one of the participating designers above, between now and October 4, and enter your project into one of the three categories. (dressed to the nines, everyday casual, or pattern hacking) to be entered to win some amazing prizes!

Find out more about the sewalong contest rules and how to enter here, and I’ve posted a separate blog post with all the prizes you can win.

The Bundle:

The second Sewing Indie Month bundle is just as good as the first one: you can buy a selection of very special indie patterns at a substantial discount – in fact, by setting your own price. And best of all: your purchase supports small creative independent businesses and women! 20% of the proceeds from this bundle will be donated to Women for Women, which helps women dealing with violence, marginalization, and poverty due to war and conflict.

There is so much more to say about this bundle that I’ve written a separate post with many more details here.
