Just in time for some last-minute Christmas shopping: holiday shop update

After yesterday’s launch of the embroidery patterns and hot iron transfers, I’ve added a few more items for some last-minute Christmas shopping. (Wait, you don’t do that? Hmmm…)

There are some more pretty fabrics, folksy ribbons, and more.

Look, even something for a little girl in your life:

butterfly belt

My older daughter came up with the design idea for this belt and she asked me to put it in the shop for her. (I suspect that several little girls in our life will be getting something like this for Christmas.)

And… the sewing kits are back! There are four of them this time, in a range of styles (and prices) and don’t you think they’d be a great gift for the folklore-loving sewist?

There’s one with a purple geometric embroidered front panel (same style as the designs in on Floral Geometry hot iron transfer or PDF pattern set, embroidered for this kit by a lovely artisan in Buzsák):

Another, very special kit, with black silk and a gorgeous applique for the front panel (also handmade in Buzsák):

I’ll talk more about this one next week.

There is a lovely kit with embroidery from Kalocsa (I designed the pattern, then the lovely ladies of Hanna Modern Ethno Style stitched it, in Hungary.)

Finally, a sweet little kit that lets you make the high-low hemline blouse I used for the Róza pattern photoshoot:

I loved this fabric so much, and since I was able to get more of it, I thought I’d share it with all of you. I’ve also got the fabric by the yard: a pretty, flowing, drapey rayon challis twill. All the kits come with 2 yards of fabric, single fold bias tape, sewing thread, a little Kate & Rose label printed on organic cotton, and the new Róza paper pattern, of course. Go take a look!
