Oh hi there! It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
Lots going on behind the scenes here at Kate & Rose, I’m getting ready with all kinds of good things for you guys. I can’t wait! But I have to. Can’t skimp on the finishing touches!
In the meantime, some pictures. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen them before, I really wish I had more time and didn’t have to repeat myself this way…
First up, I’ve been stitching away at some embroidery. That is, when I’m not madly finishing instruction diagrams, envelope cover designs, sewing test samples, pricing paper & printing & placing orders… Hah! A whole bunch of hints for you right there. Here’s a little something I stitched up yesterday (also a sneak peek):

Oh, and my 5-year-old daughter designed this belt:
Well – she chose the elastic, ruffle trim, and butterfly clasp at M&J Trimming, then I paid for it and sewed it all together for her as per her instructions. I think it’s pretty clever, actually.
Aaaannnd… a hint (a pretty giant one) at the first new item coming to the shop, sometime tomorrow:
That’s it for now – back to work I go. Until next time!
